I bet you haven’t thought about this, but your bridesmaids and maid of honor will be doing their makeup for you! It can be a little nerve-wracking to give them the right direction to make it look good. Here are some tips that will help them out. The key is to keep it simple and fresh-looking. If they want bold, vibrant colors – go with neutrals instead (or vice versa). Apply concealer under the eyes and any blemishes before applying foundation. Add a light-colored lip gloss or lipstick for an easy daytime look, or add blush, mascara, eye shadow, and eyeliner if they prefer evening wear. Lastly, tell them not to forget eyebrows.
Inspiring looks for bridesmaid makeup
Your bridesmaids are an essential part of your wedding. They will be there for you on your big day, and they deserve to look their best! Read more about how to make their makeup beautiful by following these steps:
- The first thing every bride needs to do before anything else is talking with her maids about their makeup style and color scheme. You can have each bridesmaid pick two colors that they love so that there’s no fighting over who gets which one.
- Start with a clean face. You can use a cleanser or exfoliator that matches the skin type of each person in the group.
- Apply moisturizer gently across the forehead, nose, cheeks, chin, and neck. Be careful not to apply it too close to the eyes as this could irritate.
- Put some bronzer below cheekbones and contour on jawline if desired for added definition.
- Use a light foundation all over the face but particularly on any red areas.
A lot of times, bridesmaids are not given much to work with when it comes to makeup. When you ask them what they would like their makeup to look like, they will typically say “natural.” This is understandable; however, this does not mean that your girls should be left without eye shadows or lipsticks. There are many ways for you as a bride to make sure your girls feel beautiful on your wedding day.
